God has given you, as a gift, grace for today. The thoughts that will rob you of the feeling of his grace is the what if’s, the how come’s, and the if only’s; those thoughts will depress you, make you feel void and hopeless. God’s grace is the free and unmerited (not earned or deserved) favor of God. Grace in the bible is a Hebrew verb and is paralleled with such ideas as healing, help, being lifted up, finding refuge, strength and salvation (literally rescue). I have been where you are now and I know what a struggle you may be battling as you read this. God’s grace is for today, this hour, this moment. What ever comes, God will give you his grace to handle it. His Grace heals, it is a help in the time of need, lifts you up when you have no strength. Grace is a refuge and will rescue you from the loss that you want to run away from. The peace that passes understating will be right there waiting for you. God promises he will arm your with strength for every battle. We may not know what our future holds but we do know who holds our future. Believe with your heart “God you know what’s best for me, you said you would give me grace for every season.” Thank you God for your Grace today, in this moment.
Hebrews 4:16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
